Default Xorg 6.8.1 , latest nvidia... DVI + TV ??

Hi everybody,

has anybody managed to have DVI (1280x1024 or more) as primary display and TV as secondary in twinview cloning ?
GeForce Ti4200.

The best I can get is TV as primary and DVI as secondary, but this gives a lot of problems...
- If I start both DVI and TV metamodes enabled the windows list in gnome panel gets crazy, showing only windows out of the shared screen space;
- If I start a media player BEFORE switching image to TV too, system hard locks;
- with this "solution" doom3 must be pushed t 1280x1024 to get it fullscreen... if I don't, it blackens the whoe LCD except for a little gaming windows on the low-left corner (???).

So I think a solution is to have DVI as primary and TV as secondary.

Unfortunatey I can't post my xorg.conf de I'm away from my linuxbox.
Maybe any story of success (with success xorg.conf) would be enough, if you mind to help me ^_^

Default Re: Xorg 6.8.1 , latest nvidia... DVI + TV ??

I'm having similar problems with an Asus Geforce Ti4200 card.

I cant get tv-out to work.

When I enable tv-out in the xorg.conf my main monitor goes black and shuts itself off and the tv shows the desktop instead.

Anyone have a solution to this?

my xorg.conf below
