HL2 Preloading Phase 6 just began today. It loads all HL2 maps in encryptd form @ 838 MB. We're getting the maps, guys..... suddenly, that "HL2 gold tomorrow" rumor is starting to look more and more promising.

Any link? Steam isnt giving me another option to preload nor has it attempted yet : (

Well, if you have the sounds, textures, core data, and maps...what else would you need?

Well, if you have downloaded CS:S, you already have the Source engine on your PC. I dunno what else there could be. I wish so bad that I could open up my SteamApps folder, double-click on hl2.exe and play some HL2. That would make my day.
