Default Hyper-Threading

I feel ignorant for posting this, but maybe you can answer my questions as I don't have time to read up on it.

Since Hypter-Threading makes the OS think there are 2 processors, does it work under WinXP Home, or do you have to have WinXP Pro, or Win2000?

I read somewhere that although the home edition doesn't support SMP it does support hyper threading and if you go into device manager under processors two instances will show up...
