Just need opinion on system being built

I'm just looking for other's opinions.
I'm building a system for my sister in Canada. (Her's is something like a Pentium Pro). Here are the specs that I will be using:

Antex SLK2600 mid-tower case w/ 300W PSU
Athlon XP 1600+
- Zalman Flower Silent Heatsink (Quiet Mode)
MSI K7N420 Pro nForce Motherboard
Samsung 256MB DDR PC2100 (heard MSI was picky with mem)
Western Digital 40GB 7200RPM (WD400BB)
Samsung CDRW/DVD Combo (SM-332)
MS Interllimouse Optical
Windows XP

The only thing I really have to buy is the case and the extra ram. Everything else I already have. Do you think I should bother getting two sticks of 128MB to use the Dual DDR or just stick with one 256MB stick? I don't want to overclock it, or anything, but I want it quiet for them. Just something that is pretty up to date (at least for regular use). They can use their existing monitor and keyboard. I don't know how the nForce board is because I bought it but never used it myself. Any comments or advisories on certain items that I'm using? Thanks.

if there not real big performance buffs are into games and stuff, that system should be more than enough. the dual ddr or not shouldn't make a difference to them at all. its still a great system.

No, I use to have 256MB on XP. I went up to 512 on my system because of the amount of audio and video editing I did at once. Aside from that (and gaming), I really would not recommend someone to go out and buy an extra 256MB (for 512 total) if they didn't play games or do any intensive programming/editing. I'm sure the 256 will be fine. I just didn't know if I should bother with that Dual DDR or not. But you're right, she probably won't know the difference. Thanks.

Twinbank (and DualDDR later) is supposed to reduce latency, so its entirely possible they would notice.

If you or your friend don't play games so it dosn't matter , but
I have Nforce to and i loose 30% performance if i put only 1 bank of memory

so offcourse its better to use 2 sticks of 128 or 2 of 256

EDIT: you can combain memory not necessary of same amount 2x128 or 2x256 can be 1x128 1x256 or in my case 1x512 1x256

Wait...

So your saying If I want to use the Twinbank feature I can do it with a 256 stick and a 512 stick and that the memory doesnt have to be the same (2 256 sticks or 2 128 sticks of DDR)??

your talking about a pentium pro upgrade to an 1.4 ghz athlon xp. dual ddr won't mean crap to them at all

You're right. I guess they aren't going to really know the difference since they are jumping from Pentium Pro to Athlon XP. And what I was trying to find out if there is a big difference between TwinBank and just one stick. Well, I'll just go with one stick. Thanks a lot to everyone for the help.
