i apologize if this has already been covered, but i can't seem to get any worthy results from the forum's search feature, or google... which i know probably means it's just me.
anyway (as the title suggests), does anyone know if vsync is broken in far cry? i can force it in the driver properties, but i'd prefer it left at "application-controlled" for everything else. as far as the game goes, it's enabled in the video options, but there's noticeable tearing onscreen when strafing. it's exactly the same whether it's on or off. what else should i be doing here? tia. btw, it's v1.1... still waiting for 1.3 like everyone else. |
