New Steam Update

STEAM CLIENT CHANGES / ADDITIONS:

-Added Tools section to Steam UI
-Fixed Japanese, Thai, and Russian characters drawing incorrectly under Windows 98
-Fixed DoD:S showing up in the Steam monitor as downloading
-Fixed HL2 preloading stuck at 89% for some users
-Fixed condition causing "non-zero size of m_uMallocedBlock" message

MMMMM tools, maybe the hammer editor will get preloaded ; )

They need to update steam now to fix these dam haxers. There a speed hax and a radar hax that people are using effectively and admitting to using it. When you watch them play you can really see the radar hax.

i.e. T Stares at door with awp waiting for last guy CT to comeout. CT, changes his mind and goes to other side of house to exit. Same time the CT makes his move the haxer T moves to other door and waits there with awp pointing only at new ct exit.

Never checks rest of map never even looks left or right... I call them out, that I think they are cheating, and they say "well ya I'm using a hax but only when guys are camping, I'll turn it off during the regular game") ... GRRRR

That is very bad thing about CS , no real anticheat software with frequent updates.

God cheating with CS:Source seems like an epidemic. Everywhere I go some dummy is running around with a speed hack.

Main reason i still play CZ mostly, they need VAC2 installed..

I've heard that VAC2 will be installed when HL2 is installed. You can still find some servers with some honest players that don't cheat. As for the updates, it seems like I got 2 different ones. (I logged on twice and it updated both times) I love CS:S, especially when you get some real players that wanna use teamwork. Also, I love to play with the Suicide Clan (sC), they are a trip!
