i could have swore i posted in this topic saying how bad the sound was and that a bb gun and paintball gun sounds better then the guns in this game. where did my post go? or am i dreaming and never posted?

That's likely a lot to do with the setting as opposed to the grandiose battles you get in the MOD/COD series, but I just can't get involved. I hope this Vietnam fetish runs its course, I'd prefer another friggin' WW2 game as compared to Vietnam, the possibilities for different locales, weapons - not to mention emotional involvement - are significantly higher. (Frankly I'd prefer neither scenario, which is why I'm looking forward to LucasArts Republic Commando and Chronicles of Riddick.) Basically, it seems like a game rushed out before Xmas, and a console port at that. EA got it right with COD, make a separate console version that only shares the theme with the PC version to take advantage of the strengths of both platforms. The result? Years later, COD is still burning up the sales charts, and the console versions will probably sell extremely well themselves (although they don't compare to the PC versions). Jeez - the "same team" that gave us the MOD series? Right, more like the night janitor from 2015's old offices is what they're counting, I see little of their handiwork in this title. |

I agree. Medal of Honor still kicks this game's arse! Pacific Assault is even better.
