Default Stereo, twinview and x86_64 problem

I have a dual boot (FC3 x86_64 and RHEL3 ia32) machine with
a Hewlett Packard NVIDIA Quadro FX 3400 card and two identical
HP 1230 monitors.

In FC3, I can only get stereo on the left monitor, in RHEL3,
I get stereo on both monitors.

The xorg.conf in FC3 is identical to the XF86Config-4 file in RHEL3.

Stereo is set to:

Option "Stereo" "3"

The two monitors are set up identically:

HorizSync 30.0 - 140.0
VertRefresh 50.0 - 160.0

and

Option "SecondMonitorHorizSync" "30.0 - 140.0"
Option "SecondMonitorVertRefresh" "50.0 - 160.0"

I use the following modeline:

Modeline "1600x1200_109" 309.81 1600 1736 1912 2224 1200 1201 1204 1278 -HSync +Vsync

I have:

Option "MetaModes" "1600x1200_109,1600x1200_109"

Option "TwinViewOrientation" "RightOf"

Depth 24
Modes "1600x1200_109"

Both setups run version 1.0-6629 of the nvidia drivers, both
are SMP.

Any suggestions?

Look at the Nvidia Readme.txt file. It states that in twinview you only get 3d accel in the first monitor. I guess the 32bit driver is different (I would have assumed that it would be the same).

Sorry.

I find no such information in the README file.

Besides, I have 3D accelleration on both displays, both in 32- and 64-
bit mode. It is just the stereo that doesn't work in 64 bit mode.

BTW, it is a fantastic graphics card, 234 FPS in q3demo, 3200x1200
over two monitors :-)
