Im willing to help here... may i suggest you first check the fan on the heatsink on the card to make sure its still spinning fine or it might be slowy dying if its not excesively dirty, then clean it. What looks like is happening is because the video card GPU(core) is overheating. If the fan is good, then i would suggest changeing out the white thermal grease the manufacture puts in and replace it with some arctic silver5 between the hsf and core. Remember to put alittle more in the center of the gpu because it has a concave(sunk in) like surface. If all the above didn't help, maybe its time to retire that card and get a new one or get a replacement HSF for it from thermaltake and try that... good luck.

it sounds like an overheating issue to me. There is also a good chance that the hardware is damaged.

As a previous post said, he hasn't replied for days. So, 1 of 2 things must have happened.

1. He got so pissed off he threw his system out the window.
2. It was mere flamebait and after seeing how no one fell for it, he decided not to continue.

Or maybe he was mad when he posted (hence the name and the swearing) and when people refused to help him, he left.

No offense guys, but a simple suggestion to not use a name like that and then an (easy) answer to his question probably would have been fine. Obviously his card\CPU is overheating but you scared him away before anyone actually told him

Yeah I know... I was referring to the first couple posts. We have all been pissed off with broken hardware, I was just saying that if they answered him the first time he probably wouldnt have gotten really pissed and left.

They way he started off , first his nick, then his attitude in general like the community or NVIDIA owed him something for nothing. The card is faulty , it's;

a) not our problem.
b) not NVIDIA's problem but of the AIB partner.
c) not a need for him register with such a nick and then throw a tantrum.

Remember, it's a privilege to post at nV News forums, not a right
