Default Widescreen Fedora core 3 and Nvidia

Hi,
I am trying to get 1280x800 on my HP zv5340us laptop (15.4" screen) to work. I tried adding Modelines found on web but to no avail.
I have Fedora core 3 x86_64 (kernel 2.6.9-1.667), Nvidia Linux x80_64-1.0-6629 pkg2

The errors I get in log file is "Hsync out of range" for 1280x800 mode.

Any help on this will be appreciated.
I have sent an email to HP for freq specs of my monitor. Awaiting there response.

Also , If anybody know the syntax for modeline in xorg.conf, please let me know.
Thanks,
Rishi.

I finally got it to work.
New NVidia driver 1.0-6629 was reading false data from EDID.
Old version 1.0-6111 worked. It gave message on log file that no freq specified in
EDID and then prroceeded and everything worked perfect. Hope this helps anyone facing same problems. I had a very hard time with this.

You should send logs from both 66.29 and 61.11 to nvidia so they can fix things in future releases.
