I purchased a card a week ago and I am still having problems getting it to run. All I get is a Nvidia splash screen. I am trying to install the card so I can use the TV output for MythTV. Below is informaiton that might help solve the problem.
Kernel: 2.6.9-1.11_FC2 I have tried others too. Video Card: GeForece MX 4000 ASLMX4000 Driver Version: 1.0-6629 Processor: Intel P3-833 Motherboard: Intel A48380-001 I think I have attached the xorg.conf and xorg.o.log files as well. Any help would be great. Thanks - Jarred |

Your card may be too old for the 6629 driver. Try 6111.

The 1.0-6629 driver release is incompatible with some older graphics cards; judging from your description, your card is affected. This will be addressed in a future driver release, but for now you'll need to revert to 1.0-6111.
