Default How to enable SPDIF output under linux?

Hey guys,

I have installed the newest Nforce Driver in Suse 9.1 but I still have no ideas how to get SPDIF Output (only PCM, AC3 pass-through is not important) There is no documentation with the driver and in the nvmixer control panel there is no setting too.

I hope you can help me, big thanks in advance!

Did you try with the kernels alsa driver? I have absolutely no problems with enabling the spdif with the alsa driver and the alsamixergui and check out all the options

In the nvmixer select the digital option in the "advence options" tab. I hope the driver works on your machine. It is not working on mine .
