Default Different RAM Brand...

I have 768mbs of ram right now, I had 1 gig but had to give one 256mb stick back to my friend. I have a 512mb corsair XMS PC3200 stick and another 256 Corsair XMS. I wanna buy another 256mb stick soon but for personal reasons I can't buy it online and the computer store next to me only seems to have kingston as the only good brand ram.

My question is, If I have 768mb of corsairs is it bad to buy a 256 of another brand like kingston for example. Is it going to have any negative effects, and any that are worth not buying kingston and try to get corsair instead?

I think that I would work but its better to get eather mached pairs or at least the same model that your trying to get.
Use a Mac Mini now and have scuba diving sucking up my money.
