probably a stupid question, but how can i check if glx is actually working ?
is it that simple, that if glxgears isn't runnin glx itself isn't ok ? and what is the output of glxinfo tellin me ? what do i have to look for ? thx Lee |

Do something like this on a shell under X11:
> glxinfo | grep render direct rendering: Yes OpenGL renderer string: GeForce2 MX/AGP/SSE/3DNOW! If "direct rendering" is "No" you don't have hardware accelerated rendering, probably using the software renderer from Mesa. HTH ![]()
