Mild agnosticism —the view that the existence or nonexistence of God or gods is currently unknown but is not necessarily unknowable, therefore one will withhold judgment until/if more evidence is available. A weak agnostic would say "I don't know, but maybe you do."

Dammit. This thread made me remember how much I loved Babylon 5, and I haven't watched it in years. I saw the entire TV series and movie collection on DVD at Amazon and I really want to get it. I probably will soon but it's kinda expensive (about $400 for both sets )

Heh, yeah, Babylon 5 was really cool. In fact I think it's the only sci-fi show that everyone I knew could agree was good. Usually people would divide themselves into either the Startrek or Starwars catagory and hate anything that wasn't Startrek/Starwars, yet for some reason B5 really seemed to appeal to everyone. I never did get to see the last couple seasons of it, since it went to sci-fi channel and we didn't have cable

And Freespace 2 really was great...the first was really good but they actually managed to improve the game even more. The second one has ships in it that are 4x the size of the Lucifer! I remember playing that on my old 200mhz and thinking it was strange going up against a ship that you could fit about 100 Half-life levels in as far as scale goes

Elite/Frontier were classic games. I spent many a night trying to increase my ranking and improve my ship.

I read somewhere that work is still going on on Elite 4 but I somehow think that it should go on the same list as DN4E.

Seconded. That was one of the best games ever created IMO. The second one wasn't bad either, but the first is a true classic.

Star Control II was obviously heavily influenced by StarFlight (EA/Binary Systems).

Perhaps there was some forgotten colony that they didn't know about or something. You know how it is... They wouldn't have to reach real far if they truly wanted to bring the Kilrathi back. Or they could just invent another enemy and the Kilrathi could fight alongside us against it.

I think they're called the Nephilim. You get to fight with the Kilrathi in some of the missions in Prophecy, too. Thought that was great.
