Default FC3 driver installation gets crushed on reboot

With Fedora core 3 I install the latest drivers and can use them fine. However on reboot the drivers seem to be removed. ( i.e. no /dev/nv* files ) Per the readme I edited the /etc/security/console.perms file and removed the lines starting with "<dri>" but that didn't help. Any other ideas?

Default Re: FC3 driver installation gets crushed on reboot

hmm, there's already a big thread about FC 3 problems( http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=40622)

seems like you've forgotten to do: (step 4)

4) Finally, enter "cp -a /dev/nvidia* /etc/udev/devices/" to fix the boot problem.
