Have been playing with a dual head setup... works well so far, though have a question that can't find a more appropriate place for. I have tried with and without xinerama, trying to get an ideal setup. What I am after is kind of 2 separate desktops, kinda like a workspaces. Would like to be able to move windows from workspace to workspace, but not by dragging windows such as in xinerama mode. Also want bot displays to show the same basic things like panels.
Suppose I am asking if there is a way to make the separate displays workspaces rather than separate screens or one screen (xinerama). Hope my question is understood ![]() |
