Do the madden and NHL games for PC support gamepads and/or more than one player?

I might get back into PC gaming on my TV, and might whip out my XBox and PS2 controller adapters. that is, IF I can find some practicality...

So, the thread title's my question...

I definitely don't have the cash for a console this year...

Madden definitely supports gamepads and I'm pretty sure it supports more than one player. Not sure about NHL.

So I could do some two player action with madden, no need to do actual net/LAN based multiplayer? Heh, or maybe 4 payer? That would kick arse, I'm sure madden 2k5 would run great with a 6800nu @ 640x480, lotas aa and af, and would probably look pretty sweet too.

Damgit! I wish there were fighting games for PC!! I think I'm done with Playstation emulation, so I think I'm just out of luck there...

Hmm, now I'm thinking "what games will be fun on my TV with a gamepad?"

Star Wars Pod Racer was great.... NFS:U2 would probably be great... uhh, I don't like golf games particularly... grr, I wish Aquanox was easier to control... hmm, maybe Max Payne 2, ummm...

Any more game ideas?

It definitely supports 2 and looks like it might support more than that. There are actually 8 boxes for each team that you can drag your controller to.

I feel your pain. My favorite fighting games are emulated on Neo Geo though. If you can find the extremely rare PC Guilty Gear X and XX:Reload games, you'd be happy ... if you're into that sort of fighting game.
