i installed the new drivers and all right, but when i launch X, the monitor turn black and the system freeze and i must reboot :S
somebody has the same problem? |

Are you sure that it has freezed? can you ssh to the machine?
Some info about the system would not hurt ![]() |

Probably the same problem we're having with the ASUS A7N266VM (see other thread). It has a GeForce2 MX.

Same here. With NvAGP=0, 1 and 2. Has these card been tested by nvidia ? Is there a reference platform ? ( distro ? X build options ? ). I had the same behaviour with 6xxx drivers but the 5336 works fine ( but i don't succeed to build it with a 2.6.11 kernel ).
