Defender Of The Crown on the Amiga, first game I played on a pc and first to complete all the way through. Amiga for its time was just awesome, too bad Commodore sat on their asses while everyone else caught up and then surpassed them.

It had to have been around 75 but don't quote me on that.

Those games were ridiculously popular. Hero's Quest, King's Quest, Space Quest, etc.. Kings Quest 5 was one of the first games that supported VGA - 320x200x8bit color.

Honestly I was never very good at them at all. I usually ended up having to cheat because I couldn't solve the puzzles very well. Plus Sierra had a nasty habit of making games in such a way that if you didn't retrieve something early on in the game (like the green slime in space quest 4 I think) you could easily play several hours more in the game before realizing you were screwed.

Wing Commander was probably my most favorite series. I would gladly pay $100 to buy a remade copy of Wing Commander I and II w/updated gfx and sounds upport.
