Default Freezes when switching from X to console

Hi

I have a g3ti200, a computer with an i875 chipset, using agpgart, kernel 2.6.10-5-686-smp, and I have this problem with the two latest drivers (71.67 &

66.29).

Code:
X Window System Version 6.8.2 (Ubuntu 6.8.2-5.1 20050317074038 root@)
Release Date: 9 February 2005
X Protocol Version 11, Revision 0, Release 6.8.2
Build Operating System: Linux 2.6.8.1 i686 [ELF]
Current Operating System: Linux fackamato 2.6.10-5-686-smp #1 SMP Tue Mar 15 15:49:06 UTC 2005 i686
Build Date: 17 March 2005
        Before reporting problems, check http://wiki.X.Org
to make sure that you have the latest version.
Module Loader present
OS Kernel: Linux version 2.6.10-5-686-smp (buildd@rothera) (gcc version 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-8ubuntu2)) #1 SMP Tue Mar 15 15:49:06 UTC 2005 T

If I run an opengl application in fullscreen, and press control+alt+f1 to switch to the console, X freezes. Or something. The display freezes, but all the services, sound etc are still up. Is this a known bug, or is it not a bug with the nvidia drivers?

Regards, Mathias

edit: Not using composite.
