ATI shouldn't have done it in the first place. However, Doom3 DID get hyped in a very nice way. Those lucky few to play it *cough* loved it and will more than likely buy the full version when it's released. I'm almost willing to bet that Carmack "leaked" it on purpose just to see the reaction from the buyers. I would.
