I'm using Leadtek 6600GT card on an Gigabyte nforce 3 board.
I'm trying my best to make it work but mplayer always freezes when using single head xorg.conf and using DVI only connection and -vo xv. It also does the same behavior when I use my card's proprietary 6 pin p/s2 connection. I do experience the same behavior in mythtv when using xv. It happens too in XvMC. But when I start using twinview, DVI connection works. Oh btw, I am able to see X properly at 1080i when using single head configuration. It only freezes up when I start using Xvideo. Is there an issue with xvideo with 1.6629 version? Or is it an xvideo issue? Thanks, any help will be appreciated. Thanks, V1rt |

I can use xv with mplayer/xine on both output of my MSI 5950 Ultra 256 (DVI->1920x1200 Dell 24" :0.1 and VGA->800x600 Infocus X1 :=0.0) . But what I want is to use XvMC on my DVI connection, and I can't do it ???
I have today mplayer CVS with the xvmc port option, but no way... I use the nvidia-kernel-1.0.7174 from gentoo on amd64 |
