Hi.
Ever since I upgraded to Ubuntu 5.04 with Xorg, I have been unable to run anything that uses openGL. Zsnes, Blender, Bzflag, etc. all give me this error: Code:
blender-bin: relocation error: /usr/lib/libGLcore.so.1: undefined symbol: _nv000789gl from Xorg.0.log: Code:
(II) Loading extension NV-GLX (II) NVIDIA(0): NVIDIA 3D Acceleration Architecture Initialized (II) NVIDIA(0): Using the NVIDIA 2D acceleration architecture (==) NVIDIA(0): Backing store disabled (==) NVIDIA(0): Silken mouse enabled (**) Option "dpms" (**) NVIDIA(0): DPMS enabled (II) Loading extension NV-CONTROL (EE) NVIDIA(0): Failed to load GLX 1. Relocation error? 2. What is calling GLcore? 3. What is symbol _nv000789gl? Only this person, in all the 'net, has experienced something similar. Thanks! Zach |

Hi,
as you can see, it fails to load glx. Probably some libglx/libglcore from ubuntu are still there, causing problems. I think that you'll find the bastards in /usr/lib or /usr/X11/lib, find will help you with that. |
