Default No FSAA & AF on PCI-E 6800GT

Hi, nvidia-settings doesnt seem to have any effect. I've checked to make sure the ~/.nvidia-settings-rc is there and everything else runs fine. I'm currently playing doom3 and enemy territory and I just can't get FSAA or AF going.

Is it just that the PCI-E cards aren't fully supported yet, or am I doing something wrong?

I'm using Ubuntu's own package of the 7174 drivers, any advice would be appreciated

I've done some more digging and found you can override nvidia-settings by setting the environment variable "__GL_FSAA_MODE" but this only works if I set it to 6 or 7 :S

Attached is my glxinfo, if it helps.

I almost forgot to say I removed the ubuntu packaged drivers and installed the nvidia ones from nvidia's site and they compiled with no problems (but FSAA & AF are still a no no)
