How to use TV-in with GF5 Ti 4200?
I'm trying to record some videos with my Gf 4200 Ti.
The problem is that I just can watch videos using rivatv module, when I try to use nvidia drivers I have no image 'couse de device /dev/video0 does not exist.
I have no idea about the module that I have to load to create de device /dev/video0, I have tried videodev and bttv whith no results.
Well, I'm a little bit lost in this question, any tip is great for me!
Thankz a lot for you all.
Some extra information that I forgot:
Driver version: 7174
OS: Gentoo Linux
Programs that I'm trying: xdtv, xawtv and xawdecode

Re: How to use TV-in with GF5 Ti 4200?
Currently, rivatv only works together with the open-source "nv" driver, not the closed-source "nvidia" driver that Nvida is offering. The problem appears to be the fact that the "nvidia" driver locks all access to the card's registers, and the "nv" driver doesn't. See the rivatv-page for details...
