Default no console after logout from X - Slackware

Hi all:

I have a 5700LE card here and running slackware 10.

I installed the newest version of the driver (1.0-7174) and everything went smoothly.

However, when I logout for X, I don't have my console anymore, all I see is green and orange dots on the screen. I think the console is still active since I can type shutdown -h now, and the system would recongize it and shutdown properly.

But this is kinda annoying, anyone have a solution for this?

Just try typeing reset in, all this does is redraw the console for you when things get a bit messed up... Hope this helps...
