Now since this is not DOA4, anyone have a clue what it might be?

Honestly, I could care less... DOA3 was crap and DOA4 looks like its following its method... I want DOA1 (Saturn version ROCKED!) and DOA2/DOAU (DC/PS2!) again, they were so much better.
This is probably just a side story based on Kasumi since shes a main figure from the game and Ryu already has a game. |

I think the DOA series is one of the most fun fighters out there. Not as deep as Virtua Fighter, but certainly one of the most fun, and definitely the most "fluid."
Anyway, IGN seems to think it might be an "Action RPG."

I loved the Original and Second one but I thought the third just felt dry and cheap most of the time. The final boss was stupid and the game focused alot more on the backgrounds then the actual fighting mechanics.
Virtual Fighter 4 Evolutionand Tekken 5 are my current favorites, VF4E for its speed and tactics and T5 because its just so dam insane and fun. Love its juggle system. |

I have most of the Tekkens and think it is a pretty good franchise, though I think Virtua Fighter is much deeper and DOA is more fun, which leaves Tekken and Soul Calibur in the middle of those two (more deep than DOA but less fun, less deep than VF).
Anyway, it appears Code Cronus is not a fighting game, but will star the cast of DOA. So comparing it to other fighters is rather pointless.
