go to nvidia properties and it will be under temp monitoring. PSUs get hot.

Wrong, Asus and Gigabyte have the non-standard temp sensors. As far as i know, with a Gigabyte video card, you need their software to be able to see the temp, you might be able to give Speedfan a shot and see if you can see the temps through that.

The hot air is normal for a PSU, but if the hot air is burning your hand, you have an issue.

Speedfan doesnt d'tect it, the only software you can use, is the one that comes in bundled CD with your card! its called "V-Tuner II" or "V-Tuner II Plus"!

a good PSU, with fans with LOW-RPM, gives out warm-Air.

No, its high. wats your room temperature like..? approx..
my 3200+ (no-overclok) IDLE's at
Loads at max 48-49*C with Fan-Speed 3700rpm and room temp is like 25-27*C at the moment!

I wont comment on that, coz i havent seen, heard anyone even speakin about it...

personally i would buy this:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835118114
or
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835118112

these make a HUGE difference. almost everyone who has it, is more than satisfied with it!

Ya that gigabyte card comes with a sensor (well, genrally 99% of them do come). as i mentioned in the earlier post, you need that software to check the temps. its called v-tuner 2 plus!

i havent used a single MSI mobo till date, but As far as i know, two possible areas where you can find the setting for fan speed..
1) motherboard BIOS-->Advanced-->Chipset
2) BIOS-->Hardware Monitor/Voltage frequency Check.

if you still cant fig. out, post about it in the CPU's Motherboard's section..you will definitely get a solution!

yeah, at this moment, your CPU fan is sppining on 1600-2000 rpm. that isnt very good for the temps you have.
the optimum fan-speed on idle should be between 2500-2800 ( an approximation)
similarly the optimum fan-speed while gaming and loading should be 3300-3900.

anything below that will make your CPU heat up. and anything above that fan-speed will disturb you (the fanspeed of 4100+ noises out)

Now, i dont know the exact option for the fan speed in MSI Boards, and i dont knw much about award BIOS. or else i would have given you step-by-step procedure.
