My Audigy has been relatively trouble free. The only big problem I'm having is with EAX 3.0 support in GTA3. I'm thinking it has to do with the game, though because EAX 3.0 works fine in JKII. Even then it's not a huge deal because I set GTA for normal EAX and it runs perfectly.

I'm using the 3-18-02 drivers that were leaked from Gateway a while back.

I had gobs of problems with sblive(s) once i started using >1ghz CPUs, i think there's a pci speed issue there, plus I never have been too impressed with creative's driver support, at least for the last few years. My santa cruz works better =/
.... i didn't see it mentioned here so i'll do it, SP3 for windows 2000 goes public tomorrow and there *might* be some driver fixes.

Unfortunately I have a bunch of issues with my Audigy Platinum now too. I heard it was an incompatibility issue with the KT266a chipset.

I have dealt with it, and if it doesnt work well on the nFORCE2 when I get that board, Its going in the garbage can and Ill try out a Hercules I spose.

Just for the record my Herc Fortissimo II - screwed one of my Win 2K setups so I could not reinstall/ delete the drivers/ correct the registry settings, so I have relegated it to the shelf until I get a new system and try it again now I have a SBlivek5.1 value - and so far so good - for almost a year now.

The sound was good as long as the thing worked.
