1.0-7667 FreeBSD i386 Installation issues

Hello,

I'm having issues installing this driver. I'm using the run file for this. After running this file, it told me to configure x windows config file. I read the readme file and did what the readme file told me to do in terms of changing two lines in my xorg.config file (remove the Driver "nv" line and replace with Driver "nvidia" also remove load "dri" or "GLCore" and replace with Load "glx"). And they go on to talk to some advanced settings. This is where I get confused. What kind of advanced settings am I changing? When i load kde, it only sees the GeForce FX Generic Drivers and not the new set. I've included the nvidia installation log file, hope this help.

I had that problem too until I figured out that you get to the advanced commands by using sysctl command.
systcl -a hw.nvidia.registry : which gives you a list options in the module and then
systcl hw.nvidia.NvAGP=1 for instance to change from 0 (not sure if I remember module line correctly since I am in windows trying to figure out why I keep getting "chipset not supported by driver" message when I try to start X.
