can't install Nforce drivers

When i try to install Nforce drivers on Linux, i've got error messages

First "No precompiled..., have to build it"

Then
"If you are using a linux 2.6 kernel, please make sure you have configured kernel sources matching your kernel installed on your system. If you specified a separate output directory using either the "KBUILD_OUTPUT" or the "O" KBUILD parameter, make sure to specify this directory with the SYSOUT environment variable or with the appropriate nvidia-installer command line option"


WHat's the matter, how can i fix the pb ?

You need to install the source for the kernel you're running, or at the least the kernel headers. Which Linux distribution are you using?

I'm using mandrake 10.1. But i already installed the 2.6.8......-12mdk.rpm matching my kernel if that's what you mean. Is it ?

What does the output from this command look like?
rpm -qa | grep kernel

kernel-source-2.6-2.6.8.1-12mdk

Those are not identical. If you're running kernel-2.6.8.1.12mdk-1-1mdk then you need to have kernel-source-2.6.8.1.12mdk-1-1mdk installed.

I'd suggest contact Mandrake's support to have them assist in installing a kernel & its corresponding source RPMs.
