When I start X I get
Code:
(EE) NVIDIA(0): The NVIDIA kernel module does not appear to be receiving (EE) NVIDIA(0): interrupts generated by the NVIDIA graphics device. (EE) NVIDIA(0): Please the the FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS section in (EE) NVIDIA(0): README for additional information. Code:
pci=noacpi (doesn't work for me) pci=biosirq (doesn't work for me) noapic (works) acpi=off (works) The problem is when I set those options the majority of my USB ports are disabled, including the internal one my wifi is connected to. Code:

what does /proc/interrupts, dmesg and lspci -v look like with acpi & apic enabled?
(Have you ever tried newer/older kernels, or nvidia's 7676 driver?) (Maybe a BIOS flash can also help...) |

The BIOS is the most recent version, I have also tried the latest NVIDIA drivers with the same outcome. Will get the command outputs and post them in a little while

Not sure if the card likes to share an interrupt with the USB controller, try to unload that driver and see if it works then.

Code:
irq 19: nobody cared (try booting with the "irqpoll" option. (a complete dmesg & lspci -v) do these kernel-parameters (noirqdebug, or irqfixup) the same thing as irqpoll? |
