Default external monitor

first of all hello

i recently bought a sony s4hp and installed ubuntu hoary on it

after installing nvidia drivers the vga out is not working

is there any soution for this problem (activate this feature from xorg etc)

i tried with nvidia settings but couldnt find anything like that

You need to set up Twinview in your xorg configuration file. Read the driver Readme.txt on how to do it or search this forum for examples.
