Default gefircefx 5600 + high mem support

i found out that after enabling high mem support in the kernel (4gb) the driver will not compile.

It reports different kernel sources being used (when infact they are not).
after i recompile without high mem support, it compiles ok.

my specs:

kernel: 2.6.13 (smp)
geforce fx 5600 128mb
1gb ram
slackware 10.1
agp 8x

driver: 7676

does anyone know anything about this?
that's all

jimmy

sm0ke,
Please post you /var/log/nvidia-installer.log for each of the two scenarios. I suspect your problem is more likely due to your kernel source being in an inconsistant state.

Thanks,
Lonni
