I am new to Linux and do not get too much time to mess around on it to learn it's in's-n-out's. Try as I might I can not figure out how to install the video drivers. The whole command line thing gets me a bit confused. If anyone could reply with some dummy proof directions, I would greatly appreciate it.

Erosmenis,
Can you elaborate on what is confusing in the documentation? Thanks, Lonni |

Hi,
*sigh* just do what was written. Install the kernel source package. (in yast2) download the driver package type sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-7676-pkg1.run -q into a console and hit enter use sax as written. How could it be easier? |

energyman,
excuse my ignorance. Like I said, I am new to linux. When you say, "Install the kernel source package. (in yast2)" I don't fully grasp that concept yet. But I am getting there. |

open yast2
go to the part, where you can install software packages look out for kernel sources (there should be a search feature - I do not have SuSE installed at the moment) install them (yast will tell you how) then install the driver package (sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-7676-pkg1.run -q) use sax2 like you typed above everything should be fine now. |
