Default kernel-smp-2.4.18-24.8.0 !?


Updated RH 8.0 from kernel-smp-2.4.18-19.8.0 to kernel-smp-2.4.18-24.8.0 and now i i cant start X !?

"failed to init.. " and "screen for none usa.... " (EE)

With kernel-smp-2.4.18-19.8.0 and latest Nvidia it worked like a dream...

any suggestions ? anyone updated ?

rebuild and reinstall your nvidia drivers. you must do this when you update your kernel.
