Default xv problems after resume

I am having performance problems after resuming from suspend2 (swsusp2).

I made it work following this instructions.
After resume all is working, but playing divx in mplayer (using -vo xv) gives me noticable higher X process cpu usage.
on a freshly booted system, X process cpu usage is ~11%, and after resume it rises to ~40%.
xvinfo gives me identical output in both cases. glxgears do not have such problem, frame rate is identical as before suspend/resume.

does anyone share this behaviour or has a solution to this problem?

i am using driver version 7167, with GeForce2 MX 400 card. xorg.conf only has NvAgp "1" option.
Kernel is 2.6.12-1.1372_FC3 from http://www.mhensler.de/swsusp with swsusp
