Default Enabling Quadro FX1000 Stereo Graphics

I am attempting to get hardware 3D stereo to work on an
Quadro FX1100 (Fedora OS, Opteron)

I have added
Option "Stereo" "3" to the device section of
/etc/X11/xorg.conf

but the molecular modelling software says hardware stereo is not enabled
The emitter does not turn on (I tried several emitters,
Stereographics and NuVision). I am using a stereo capable SGI
monitor.

Suggestions are appreciated

Doug

Doug,
Please generate and post an nvidia-bug-report.log for review.

Its not completely clear from your description, but are you using stereo glasses plugged into the videocard? Also, which molecular modeling software are you using?

Thanks,
Lonni
