Default GTA San Andreas Melting

Not sure if this has been duscussed or raised before, just got a copy of GTA SA sent from the UK - in Australia and banned here. DVD is region free so no issues using the disc. I have just installed and after playing for 5 mins the graphics go strange, as if the whole screen is melting or underwater.

No patch has been applyied, and using 77.77 drivers.

Anybody had or heard of this? I have a BFG 6800 Ultra, 1g of ram and a 3.4 P4.

Cheers

Mate,
are you sure that's not the "Heat effect" of the game? (also called haze)
Can you post a screeny?

Yes it is the heat haze, did a bit of searching and found that I was worried about nothing. The graphics are a bit outdated so it looked really weird the 1st time I saw it......... couldn't tell what it was supposed to be!

Cheers for the replies.
