How about a Logitech Rumblepad? I have a Wingman Rumblepad that I bought used for $10 and it rules. The layout of the new Rumblepads is a lot like a PS2 controller, with dual analog sticks and similar button layout.

If you have a PS2 controller around or something just go into Radioshack... for about 10 bucks they have a little USB adapter for a Playstation controller (think you can use a PSX controller also anyway).
