Side note:

I can't get Doom to go to 2560x1600 (bangs head on desk).

AAAAARRRRRRGH!!!!

sigh, running out of clues and options, must have doom 3 at 2560x1600.

I tried it on different machines, I tried it on different video cards, I tried it on monitors and the apple 30 lcd,.... it won't scale up. The custom rz settings in either the autoexec or normal cfg don't work beyond the defined waterline.

Far Cry does, Half Life does, Painkiller does, Quake 3 does, Riddick does, Red Faction does, the doom 3 BETA does (remember that one?), but Doom 3 and ROE will not go!!!! (bangs head on desk, again).
