I never play on hard. I hate everything hard mode stands for. The enemies always know where you are and kill you faster with 1 shot kills. I like to have nice firefights with em, especially FEAR.... I don't feel the whole "I need to be challanged thing." You'll never be as challanged by "smarter" NPCs compared to online players.... so if you want a challange, just go online.

I usually play them on the easiest setting to enjoy a faster flow of the game.

I always play on normal or hard mode. Then when I beat the game I go back and play using god mode so I can enjoy all the nice levels

I enabled cheats toward the end of the game, and I must say, it improved things! Same gameplay, less reloads... dying was never the fun part. Reloads became which fun part to replay, rather than which annoying bit to repeat.
