KDE freezes on splash screen

I have renderaccel true, kde 3.4, 7676 drivers, a fx5200 and no freezes
None with 32bit, none mit 64bit....

That's really good news. I've reported this bug several month ago to nVidia, but that time you weren't able to reproduce it and didn't have a similarly configured system like mine (Dell Inspiron 8200).

When should the 1.0.8xxx drivers be released?

I have the same problem. I do not know, how to fix it. i'll try to disable RenderAccel..

My system:
Slackware 10.2
Kernel 2.6.13.3
driver nvidia-7676
GeForce-440-MX

Befor on 2.6.10 kernel i did not have any problems - Wolfstein:ET worked ok.

Actualy, freezing is on X-server/app, because shell is working OK (remotly)

And there is one another thing - then i start X remotly (#startx), and then on client box X freezed up, then also shell does not respond on remote box... gy..

Section "Extensions"
Option "Composite" "Enable"
EndSection

so it is solved or not????

its choppy but when i add:
Option "RenderAccel" "true"
to X org ... KDE freeze ....
