Unhappy Quadro NVS 280 PCI-E and 2 Displays clone mode via dvi2hdmi cable

Hi

I'm trying to get twinview in clone mode to work.
My graphics card is an Quadro NVS 280 PCI-E with two DVI ports provided through a included cable connected to the special quadro port.

My two display devices are:
DFP-0 is a Toshiba 32 WL 58 P Flat Screen TV
DFP-1 is a Panasonic PT AE700E Projector

I found out that the DVI ports only provide Single Link DVI Interfaces.
I am not sure what that means.

My two display devices are connected via dvi2hdmi cables.

My xorg is configured to use the timings provided in the EDID Information
but none of my screens show a picture.
Xorg.log does not show any error.

best regards
Tobias

Default Re: Quadro NVS 280 PCI-E and 2 Displays clone mode via dvi2hdmi cable

I've responded to this via email (as it was also sent to linux-bugs@nvidia.com). There seems to be a number of problems here:
* 1280x720 is not divisible by 8
* Alot of resource management issues (WAIT:....)
* A dvi2hdmi cable might be degrading the signal

Thanks,
-Lonni
