Default Bugzilla site needed - please vote everybody!!!

I think it's time for nVIDIA to launch bugzilla site for Linux/UNIX drivers. I address everybody here to vote for this in this thread. Forum administrator - please make this topic sticky.

nVIDIA people on this site - please comment this thread. I personally really would like to see proper bugzilla and driver roadmap as well. I think I'm not alone.

I vote too...although there seems to be some nVidia's internal Bugzilla.

I vote for.
But it looks nVidia has internal bugzilla which is confidential. You know, competition can not see weak sides of product etc. However looking how poor competition's driver is comparing to nVidia's one there should be no worry.

That'd be excellent. A bugzilla would be an excellent resource for the nvidia community, and provide a more organized way to track issues than this forum does.

An example: http://ati.cchtml.com/ This site is "unofficial", but the ATI devs do check it, and comment on issues.

Even better would be access to nvidia's internal bug tracking system, but for reasons I can't possibly comprehend (same issue as opening chipset documentation), I doubt that'll happen.

I vote for - if and only if nvidia takes on the task to set it up. Otherwise it's gonna end up as chaotic as this place...

I don't think nvidia need to do the work, it'd just take someone (from here, or elsewhere) with the bandwidth / time to maintain the bugzilla.

Though, I do agree that having a bugzilla around is a bad idea if nvidia aren't going to bother checking it, or respond to bugs. With the ATI bugzilla, it's creation (and use of) is encouraged by the ATI people who post at rage3d. So, it works quite well.

It'd be nice if nvidia would comment on how they feel about this though.
