Default 8174 x86_64 missing 32bit compatability?

I just installed 8174 and noticed that some programs complained about missing OpenGL. A little more investigation told me that it was only my 32bit progs that were complaining. I did an --extract-only and there were NO 32 bit libs at all included. I checked 7676 and when I did --extract-only there was a lib32 dir with 32bit libs. I still need 32bit compatability, is my only option to downgrade?

edit:

It turns out that I downloaded the pkg0 which does not contain the compat libs, while pkg2 does. AFAICT this is not documented anywhere. In fact the readme states that:
Quote:
The package suffix ('-pkg#') is used to distinguish between packages
containing the same driver, but with different precompiled kernel interfaces.
The file with the highest package number is suitable for most installations.
So I had grabed pkg0 since I knew I would have to recompile the kernel interface anyway.

NVIDIA please document the new meaning that has been associated with the pkg#.

The NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-1.0-8174-pkg2.run driver packages includes 32-bit compatibility libraries.

Please note that the NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-1.0-8174-pkg2.run archive doesn't ship with pre-compiled kernel interfaces, it ships with the native 64-bit and the 32-bit compatibility files, only. This is the archive linked to from the NVIDIA Linux graphics driver download page on nvidia.com. I agree that the description in the README could be clearer.
