Default help with config problems?

I'm running debian, and have this hardware:
GeForce 4 Ti4400 (VGA/DVI out)
Monitor #1 Dell 2001FP LCD Screen (plugged into the DVI port of GeForce 4)
Monitor #2 Hyundai L90D+ LCD Screen (plugged into vga port of GeForce 4)

I am trying to use my dell as the left screen @ 1600x1200, and the hyundai as the right screen at a resolution of 1280x1024.

I tried setting it up manually, but was having problems. For one, when i move from the bottom left of the screen to the bottom right with my mouse, it moves into a part of the screen which i cannot see; how can i block the mouse from moving into the part of the right screen that doesnt exist? Also, how can i set it up so that i can full screen my videos with either screen with mplayer, or vlc?

Thanks a bunch!

Here is the link to my current config file:

I think your first question can be answer by adding panning details to your MetaModes line.
See the TwinView Section of the README for details on Panning Domain. I would link straight there but they don't have any anchors in the README pages. (hint, hint NVidia)

Not sure what you mean with the second question.

whenever i full screen my videos with either mplayer, or vlc (the two players i use) it always defaults to fullscreening on my right screen (regardless of which screen the mplayer window is on). What i want is to have it fullscreen on the left screen when mplayer is on the left screen, and on the right when mplayer is on the right (same with vlc). any way to do that? btw thanks for the panning stuff.

would the correct pan in this case be 1280x1024 @ 1280x1024? (for the smaller of the 2 monitors)

I am guessing but from looking at your config I would say @1280x1200

What about dual servers to work around the problem? It gives you two seperate desktops.

It's my preferred option.
