GeForce Go 7800 GTX - Linux

Hello,

I am awaiting a new Dell XPS with GeForce Go 7800 GTX, I was hoping to install a Linux distribution but have not seen a driver available. Can any kind person suggest a Linux distribution that will support the card?

You should be fine with the default driver from what ive heard, i havnt owned a laptop for a while, and the newbie distros seem to haave beter hardware support, id try ubuntu (what i use its great), suse, or debain...

thanks a12ctic, do you mean the default driver that comes with the Linux distribution or is the a default Nvidia Linux Driver, sorry to be a pain.

the default linux drivers they can be found here http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_d..._1.0-8178.html

the ones that come with it usualy arent 3d drivers
