@GGtheMaD: does the power management patch I posted earlier work, as well (http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/show...06&postcount=1)?

Ops... excuse me Zander!
Unfortunately I have other problems with every driver after 1.0-7174 release, look my post in this page: http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/show...t=61051&page=7 For this reason I must use only the 1.0-7174, and if I want use new kernels (after 2.6.12) I must use my patch or I must adapt your patch to 1.0-7174 driver.... |

@zander:
I've used the patch that you have indicated to me, when I use suspend to RAM works fine (but there are always the other problems of the screen and of the consoles), but when I use suspend to disk, when I resume, the screen remains black, this is not only a screen problem, the PC is blocked! ![]() I'm come back to driver 1.0-7174 patched with my patch.... ![]() Thanks however. |

@GGtheMaD: Ok, thank you for the feedback; suspend to disk is currently unsupported, but we hope to add support for it in a future NVIDIA Linux graphics driver release.

Is there a patch for the 8178 driver, or will the patch for the 8174 driver work as well?
Also: will this resolve any problems with entering S1? |
